Canucks pass. If they move Boeser it’ll be to create cap space and clear the logjam we have on the wing. Bringing back another expensive winger in the trade makes little sense

Ranger trade is absurd. Goodrow isn't a cap dump and may not even be traded. Rangers easy PASS.

I agree, but this does make $8 mil in cap space over two years so it doesn’t save them quite a bit

I didn't post the trade referenced. If Drury needs to move Goodrow for cap reasons, I guarantee he finds many teams willing to trade for him and I doubt he will have to retain salary. If Marc Staal can be traded without retaining salary with the bad contract he had, Goodrow will be an easy trade. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.
