Yeah, I'm not concerned about the pick very much. I think Carter would waive to go back to the LA area if new Pittsburgh management tells him he won't be playing in Pittsburgh anymore (i.e. waive it or we'll sit you all year).

Why? All they are giving up is a second and moving down in the draft order to get a top 4 defenseman (who played well with Chariot), a backup goalie, and a prospect.
