Description

- got rid of Zadorov to a contender that could benefit from him, probably had too much in return but whatever.
- Rodrigues has a cup already (maybe two after this playoffs), he went to Chicago to chase a bag,
- praying that the lottery is nice to us and we get the second coming of Toews
- No one is paying Gustavson too much and he's already been in Chicago once, so why not again?

- Just got the salary cap up to the minimum and im sure there will be a few dumps come deadline time.

Id be ok with bringing Domi back instead of Rodrigues. Mutual interest and Domi likes Richardson.. maybe it works

Gus probably doesnt have a spot on Chicagos blue line, its time to give someone from the AHL a chance, Galvas? Regula? Roos? Tindori should be healthy..

Del Mastro and probably Kaiser start the year in the AHL.

Hawks would probably sent Fantilli back to Michigan, but if they don't he's definetly staying at his natural position (center)

I get Minnesota at some point needs to work around the Suter/Parise 15 million a season cap penalty and Zaitsev at 2.25 (might as well retain the full 50%) for a year could in theory be a stop gap to not try to rush Faber and let him marinate the majority of the year in the AHL. I would think they try to figure out a way to keep either Klingberg or Dumba who along with Spurgeon solidify the top 2 RHD. Not sure Zaitsev does much over just going with Goligoski and an entry level type guy in that case there.

No team is going to give up assets for Zaitsev - even half retained. Hawks probably but him out in June. Hawks aren't signing Gus under any circumstance. And if they sign Rodriguez or any other UFA, it will be for 3 years max. More likely only 1 or 2.
