There's no shortage of top four-ish LHDs, especially if you're not particularly concerned about them being "great" and more concerned about eating the minutes ala Gudbranson style.
The Wild probably want to dump Goligoski (though he'd have to waive to Columbus). The Bruins probably want to dump Mike Reilly. Simek and Scandella are probably free. The Flames would probably part with Zadorov for the right price. The Jets would probably part with Dillon. If you were looking to actually spend a bunch of assets, Montreal would probably move Joel Edmundson.
And those are just the guys that only have a year left. If you open it up to term, then the Blues might part with Leddy, the Flyers might part with Provorov, The Avs might part with Girard, the Jets might part with Schmidt.
Obviously all these guys are varying degrees of salary, age, trade protection and play style (and goodness) so it really depends on what direction the Jackets are going to go and what they feel their preferred player would look like but there's a ton of guys out there and they have a ton of cap space, definitely makes sense to get a LHD for cheap (asset wise) to take the pressure off the young guys.
