Description

Gus played real good with Caps. Lack of cap room would prevent them from getting a true top 6 forward to add but maybe Barbashev would play well with Kuzy and Protas or Oshie on the 2nd line? Ducks, Hawks, Yotes or any rebuilding team might take Mantha and a pretty good forward prospect for their troubles? Caps would get decent draft pick back.

Sell me on Suzdalev and justify why we should take this deal over the previous one I proposed, Mantha + WSH 2023 2nd for Comtois RFA rights + MIN 2023 3rd.

We view Mantha as a negative asset, since you want to move him to clear cap space for a new top 6 winger, that tells us you do as well.
