Silfverberg at even half retained is overpriced. Throw in they are both UFA at the end of next year and COL isn’t going trade the only pick they have in the first 4 rounds of the last 2 drafts and it’s pretty easy to say no. I could see COL giving Drouin a cheap price 1yr deal with the chance to play with MacKinnon again and pending the Nichushkin and Landeskog situations COL might all of the sudden have a boat load of cap space to play with but that a different discussion.

That is not providing Gibson with any cover, after the **** he dragged this team through this season he deserves a defense that can muscle its way out of a wet paper bag, and I'm seeing a strong emphasis on offensive puck movers in this back end.

The NYI deal is fine, but it only happens if the Colorado deal goes through, which it doesn't, as it frankly makes no sense for either team, so we don't have the openings at forward for Bailey and the kid.
