I'm sorry, to be clear, this is NOT a fair trade. I am just trying to say that LA should get Hellebuyck if possible. Seems like a great fit.

Is Peterson completely washed? Was it injury trouble? Did he start playing a different style? Perhaps he just needs a refresh? I don't know, he was so good for a couple years there it is hard to believe he can't get back to decent form, still being a young guy.

If you're dumping Peterson and getting Hellebuyck, you have to throw in a first round pick imo.

You're dumping Petersen for a world class Goalie in Connor Hellebuyck and giving up garbage in return on top of him. There's probably going to be at least 10 teams chasing him including hometown Detroit who would easily blown away this crappy offer.
