What are the odds bedard refuses to play for the hawks?

1. Canucks fan born to hate the hawks.
2. Morality (or lack of) of playing for the Blackhawks too much to handle, especially given all the hate on social media.

Personally, I don’t think it’ll matter, despite the hawks sexual assault scandal. Not to mention, given how the leafs ran child prostitution out of maple leafs garden for years without punishment, the kings with the voynov scandal, and now the Avs with nichushkin, I’ve lost all resemblance of morality in this sport.

Who knows, lindros is a huge memory of draft hijacking, but we’ve seen players play for their mortal enemies before.

As I recall, with Lindross it was a personal beef with the owner of the Nordiques from earlier in his life.

Is there a chance? Yes, but probably about as much a chance as the Canucks had of jumping to 1OA.

I can’t see it. This was best case scenario next to Montreal. Bedard going to a major market is a boon for the game at least from a monetary standpoint.
