No way Ottawa does that, or any team for that matter.
Girard is playing at a level way below his cap hit and I don't see him fetching much of anything in a trade at this point in time, like a late 2nd at best.

I don't think Kane gets 6m on his next deal.
Barbashev looks a little over paid as well.
Bunting probably gets 1m more with term than what you suggested.

Girard plays above his caphit. He'll be top 4 D on basically all NHL teams and is locked in long-term .

G just put up a career high in pts playing 19m a night. Might want to reconsider G bruh
