Myers may have a $6M AAV but if we wait until after July 1 he's only going to be owed $1M in actual salary, it will not cost a 2nd round pick to move him, VAN declines.

Bailey and Myers are in different boats. TMyers has a $5M signing bonus due to him on July 1st (I believe). VAN will pay this and then it's just $1M for the rest of the year. I tend to think a team like AZ will take a $6M cap hit costing only $1M pretty easily. He's a veteran on a young team too. It'll be worth having him in the locker room.

Josh Bailey would be a slick acquisition by the Blackhawks. Isles looking to dump him and a decent veteran presence for the kids with cap room to burn. Win-win.

Agree with above Myers will cost next to nothing to get rid of. 4th maybe.

But man you gotta get some UFAs to play with Bedsie. This is plain awful. Get him a linemate and vet at least.
