Yes Karlsson just scored 100 points and is one of if not the most dynamic offensive D but he is also 32/33 and by the time we have a team ready to compete he’s going to be on the tail end of his career, trading him to a contender, or a team very close to contending seems the logical choice for the player to give him a chance at a cup. And the sharks more pieces to help the rebuild.
Like I said min for me to accept this would be a high 2nd plus a RD like Mailoux to help sped up the rebuild. Plus sharks have done good with Montreal castoffs in the past! Damphose anyone??
