Columbus needs centers desperately, NOT WINGERS. Marner plays literally the ONLY position this team doesn't need and every single trade proposal has at least 1 of these things in it, usually multiple.

Not with all those players included lol, but I've seen at least a dozen Marner to CBJ deals this weekend and they all make absolutely no sense for Columbus and include 1 or more of what I had here in some way.

It's been the same with goalies too lol. Usually with Calgary/Vladar, but I've seen probably half a dozen or so different backup goalies that it's become a them with. At least with those it's a bit understandable, because it's not exactly common knowledge that Tarasov has both been pretty good and requires waivers, so he's 100% on the NHL squad next year with Elvis, meaning CBJ has no reason to make a move for a goalie.

No excuse with these Marner deals though when it's VERY well established that Columbus is desperately looking for top 6 centers and yet I see at least 1 of Boone, KJ, or Sillinger in every Marner deal.
