wow, I'd consider that if I were the Leafs. Not only do you save cap, but you add a gritty hometown boy with cup experience. I don't think the Caps do this though for cap reasons. they're doubling Tommy's salary pretty much for a guy not worth 2x more than Tommy. Who knows?

If Wilson is the guy you’re trying to move for Marner then it goes nowhere without at least adding this years 8th overall pick. Like it or not, Marner is a top 10 player in the league. Takes quite a bit to acquire him.

LOLLLL if you do this in a leafs acgm everyone is going to say no chance wash accepts and now since its from a caps one everyone will say no chance leafs do this
