Do people even LOOK at other teams before creating trades with them?

Do you know why this trade is impossible for Los Angeles? Hint: it's the same reason why you're trading Taylor Hall in the first place.

Los Angeles has 14 forwards on the roster right now under contract for 2023-2024, plus 4 RFAs (two of whom are Gabe Vilardi and Rasmus Kupari), plus prospects like Alex Turcotte and Sam Fa-gem-o who will get long and serious looks in training camp, and $7.5 million in cap space to fill 6 slots, including addressing the glaring #2LhD problem and the aforementioned 2 RFAs, so the Kings would have absolutely no interest in Taylor Hall even if he were free.

Taylor Hall isn't worth a 1st round pick with his current contract.

Tyler Bertuzzi doesn't sign that lowball deal.

Why would Calgary want Ullmark? They've Markstrom and Dustin Wolf coming up.
