Sorry #9 overall is not on the table from Detroit.

I see it's changed. We really like Ras so some people will push back from Detroit fans but for a value standpoint it's there for the Wings.

This is the NYI pick, #17 OVR. In this case, Wings both get a young RHD with their #9 and a scoring winger. Leafs get more flexibility, a young C with upside and a good prospect/asset. I'd say it's a win-win.

Detroit declines. Ras has gotten better each season and before injury was rounding into form. Also not helping a division rival sign a long term improving player under team control for a gamble in Willy (contract) and also taking Murray’s contract off the books.

Toronto declines because they should keep Nylander.

Insanely hard pass from Detroit. Detroit is just not a trade partner. Anything Toronto is selling, we're not buying, look elsewhere.
