Why would the Kings do that?

So the Penguins give up a bunch of assets for a guy that no one in PIT wants and some 4ths. Right.
Come to think of it, every trade here is skewed ridiculously in Vancouver's favor and no one else even takes any of these offers seriously.

So let me see if I got this right… you want a 78 point forward, a young RHD we just gave up a first for, and a second round pick in exchange for a cap dump??? Lmao. That LA trade is equally bad 🤣

Los Angeles is thin at LhD, so we wouldn't be trading Bjornfot; Los Angeles has 14 players under contract (including RFAs) for the coming season, and Beauvillier wouldn't fit in our top 9, so the Kings would have no interest in him whatsoever; the Kings have a cap problem, so any transaction not involving a LhD has to be cap-neutral, and adding Beauvillier for those three non-roster players piles another $4 million in cap on top of that problem; and as far as value goes, I'd rather have each one of those developing players instead of one season of Beauvillier, so I wouldn't trade any one of them straight up for him even without the cap situation.

Those are some of the most lopsided trades I've ever seen. This is the reason people think Vancouver fans are so delusional.
