If Goodrow can't be dealt in a pure salary dump trade it makes no sense to trade him unless it is for a player with 1 or 2 seasons left at a salary lower than his. Even with that I would rather go the buyout route. Not sure why alot of people are so dead set against a buyout. I get the costs will be on the books until the end of the 2030-31 season. Everyone has to keep in mind that after the 23-24 season (right now only a 1 million cap increase but there could still be a chance that get bumps up another million or 2), the cap will start going up 3.5 - 4.5 million a year so those dead cap hits, even in the 26-27 season that will have the highest hit, is not that bad.
Miller's deal will be higher - most likely 4yr with a 4mil AAV. Jones can't sign a contract for under 975K per RFA rules (has to be qualified with at least a 5% raise but the salary can't exceed 1million).
Instead of Eller perhaps a different player who is younger and may come in a little cheaper like Bjugstad.
Sorry but that trade with AZ isn't enough.
