Saw this proposed by a Pred's fan. Reviews were mostly negative from Vancouver fans, however I like the deal and personally don't know this is enough to get it done.

I don’t think the Preds/VAN swap works well for either team. Preds really are only in a position to bring in a 2LW, and Hoglander isn’t that

Take out fabbro and hoglander and im fine with it from nashvilles perspective. Fabbro is more use to us than hoglander and odds are we are going to end up with a forward in the draft. Hoglander just isnt anything we dont already have in the pipeline. I dont think he jumps infront of Evangelista or Tomasino. Kemell beats him out in the long run as well.

I can see it not making sense from Nashville's perspective, but I think it does from Vancouver's. Vancouver wants to move cap and gets a more reliable middle pair D in Fabbro, which is a big team need. For the cost of a B prospect and moving down 4 spots in a deep draft. I do think Myers will have value at the deadline but Vancouver wants to compete for the playoffs this year.

Not sure Myers would be the player they would want to pay a cost to move, unless that cost is very minimal, more likely a Garland or Boeser. If you guys are needing a second line LW then Garland could possibly fill that role as he plays both wings, but Vancouver may have to add another small piece to balance that out if Hoglander were removed.

Paying to dump Garland is a terrible move
