You must have missed the TJ Brodie part of it.

Ultimately, that deal doesn't make sense for Colorado I would say but don't sleep on a player like Brodie.

Brodie is good! In this case, he would be our third (maybe second) pairing defenseman for $5mil. We'd have $18.5 mil on our right side.

It makes 0 sense. Leafs ACGM just throw players they no longer want in the other direction, and that's what i mean.

Oh I agree, that's why I said my 2nd comment. Colorado isn't lacking D lol just wanted to make the point it wasn't like the Leafs were trading fairy dust for Lehkonen.
