Description
St Louis and Pittsburgh have a good trade history and the Blues already have several centers signed long term ahead of Fabbri. The cost to acquire would be heavy, but if he could slot into the 3C spot we would be set for years if we resigned him. Left lots of cap space for trade deadline acquisitions and for signing our young players (Rust, Fabbri, Sprong, Rowney, Cole) next season.

Wasn't Fabbri the Blues top line center prior to going down with an injury? I understand they are in a tight spot, but I doubt they would be looking to trade someone like that away for one year of Hornqvist, a questionable prospect and a could of late round picks.

Fabbri is not the type of the player we want to. He's not a 3rd line center. It makes no sense to me.
