Description
Hellebuyck to LA, and getting the old backups back as a tandem. This isn't about trade value, I focused on what the roster could look like if Chevy sticks with the idea of a retool. I don't like Perfetti at 2C this season, but maybe he's ready. If not, there's some cap room even without buying out Schmidt, and the Jets have assets they could use to trade for one. Maybe they overpay our hometown Domi to swap C/LW positions as needed, or sign a more veteran free agent like Toews to mentor Perfetti. I think it's more likely that they spend a bit more money on an actual starting goaltender, and/or don't buy out Schmidt.

That offer is extremely light on both Dubois and Hellebuyck.

If that trade could be made one for one, the Caps should be all over that one. I saw you mention this isn't about value, but I still imagine the Caps add a piece to this

Should keep Dillon and acquire Comrie for future considerations.

I would expect it to be a prospect, and I don't want to take the time to learn the caps prospect pool just for this AGM
