Trades
1.
LAK
  1. Stevenson, Clay
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Looking at Stevenson or Gibson, think Kings would be fine with either.

Getting a high 2nd puts the Kings in range to draft or trade up for Tanner Molendyk or Etienne Morin.
WSH
  1. Arvidsson, Viktor
Additional Details:
Capitals reload on the wings without having to break the bank on a subpar UFA class. They can pay for retention if necessary.
2.
LAK
  1. Seeley, Ronan
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
Kings stock up on LD and get more draft capital.
CAR
  1. Durzi, Sean
Additional Details:
Under the assumption Pesce gets moved, Carolina picks up a replacement that is both cheap and under RFA control.
3.
LAK
  1. Kuznetsov, Yan
Additional Details:
The future of the Flames looks murky, so I’m not sure if they want to get rid of Kuznetsov. Could do Solovyov as well.
CGY
  1. Anderson-Dolan, Jaret
Additional Details:
Flames pick up some NHL help and hometown kid if they decide to tear it down.
4.
LAK
  1. 2024 4th round pick (MIN)
  2. 2025 3rd round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Too much? Idk, I’m not concerned with the return here as much. Could be anything from whomever.
MIN
  1. Lizotte, Blake
Additional Details:
Wild love freeing their local boys from SoCal, so figured they could have another given their cap situation.

If there’s a way to get some retention on Arvidsson, I’m all for that move.

I think I’ve seen this one in a couple Washington ACGMs. I’ve grown to like it, especially if Caps fans like it as well.

Other than Durzi being a RHD, how the hell is he a Pesce replacement, and why are the Canes overpaying to acquire him?

I really like all five trades, even though I have a sentimental attachment to Blake Lizotte, who's done all we've asked of him and more.

I sure wish that we had Soucy and McCabe instead of Gavrikov plus whoever. (My personal hobby horse.)
