Would be nice to throw a bunch of money and term at samberg and vilardi, sanheim doesn’t really fit and that term is too much of a gamble to peak the interest. Would be nice to add a Center or two and a rhd dman, possibly a stop gap tender that could possibly take the reins and run with it. Domi probably needs more money and or term to come north. This is on the premise that helly and scheifele moved. Time to trade out heinola or use him, possibly something similar with Dillon and demelo with only one year remaining on contract, but some moves can wait for tdl.

Yes because cost certainty for a proven #2/#3 defenseman at 6.25 mill is such a bad contract

I agree. With the way he played last year he was more of a #5/#6 at best. He's never been a 2.
