It's possible Davidson is blowing smoke, GMs don't always mean what they say, but it sure does seem like he's done with free agents. Wouldn't expect him to chase Domi or Compher, and wouldn't want either of them at that price. Let someone else overpay.

Absolutely yes from the Hawks on the Pitts deal. That '26 1st has a chance to be real good as sooner or later Crosby, Malkin, Letang go away and the Pens probably get real bad for a time. Doubt Pitts does that though

No thanks on retaining on Dickinson to help the Bolts (when we hold their first) for just a 3rd. This would leave us with one retention spot with Tyler Johnson, Foligno, & Perry all potentially needing retention at the TDL.

Nice job getting the Hawks from a couple million over the cap floor to $300k over the cap ceiling! Hawks MIGHT sign one of Domi or Compher. Not both. Neither Pens nor Hawks make that deal. Fair return for Dickinson w/ retention.

As surprisingly well as Dickinson played last year, if he does it again this year they could get an even bigger return at the deadline w/ retention. He was really a pleasant surprise.
