I think Chicago would make sense. A young, skilled player to get top 6 minutes with Bedard for a 3rd+4th would be pretty fair.

I would consider it as Ottawa but it would depend on what happens with Debrincat

Hawks have zero interest in Garland and even less than that paying decent picks to acquire him. Before the draft and free agency, it was stated Garland was on the block as a free asset and could not be moved because teams wanted a sweetener attached to him to consider him. Now that most of the available cap space in the league has been used on day 3 of free agency, I would guess there is even less interest in 3 years of Garland.

Hard no thanks from Chicago to Garland even for free.
