Maybe not. Gibson straight up asked for a trade and very few teams can afford his cap hit. There may not be much of a market for him at all.

I wouldn’t be opposed to a trade, but I can see other teams swapping starters with Anaheim. Plus who knows if he even wants to come here.

That’s the problem is not many teams that are competitive can afford his services so the price tag wouldn’t be as expensive as you think. An RHD and probably a winger would have to back the other way but I think the ducks been looking more at Peeke than Boqvist right now as they really badly need a right shot D who is more defensive than offensive while theirs develop
