Selling high and buying low, Anaheim probably the wrong target in a rebuild mode, my eyes were on Columbus and Elvis plus a Center and a dman type move for helly, or jersey or Buffalo. Viable starter plus plus would be what I would be after for helly.

So I thought about Gibson to WPG as well. Although I had Helle going to Toronto for Nylander & Samsonov. Then flipping Samsonov to ANA for Gibson.

Could be kind of interesting also with a 3 way deal that gets Calgary logjam odd man out tender to Anaheim, Winnipeg gets Gibson and jets get something to Calgary, and ship helly somewhere else.

With contract discussions going so poorly in TOR with Nylander why not bring him to WPG for the 1 year and maybe at the trade deadline trade him for future assets.
