He's said he will only sign with 4 teams long term
Detroit, Vegas, Florida, Nashville

Vegas and Florida have zero cap room for him and would have to drastically change the make up of their winning rosters to bring him in. They are long shots.
Nashville is the only threat. Maybe they fork out and overpay? If they do so then they can have him.

Sure. I don't care. Let him get traded at the TDL to some contender as a rental. He'll hit the open market as a UFA and then sign with Detroit. I could care less about what Ottawa gets. I care about what Detroit has to give up. Which is nothing.
