Canes don't have room at 8, it needs to be less than 6 for Carolina to be able to do this

Inclined to agree but I think it gives them an option to turn Myers (if they retain again) into a late 2nd round pick at the TDL and then if Boeser starts scoring again is equal to a 1st or they just keep him and is a legit player for them.
