Probably right around no chance Winnipeg retains and trades Scheifele for 2 late magic beans before the season. It doesn't help the Jets now at all.

Chevy still wants to compete, He's not taking no two late 1st for Mark Scheifele. And fat chance of Brett Pesce waiving for any Canadian team.

Yeah, Canes ain't touching a Nylander extension in that neck of the woods. He'd have to be around 8. He's not worth 9, and Carolina are notorious for hating long term deals that take players into their mid 30s. It's exactly why they're willing to move Pesce now

More crazy extension talk just to make a trade. Poor trade for the Canes, poor use of two first rounders to obtain the unnecessary Schefeille.
