With this potentially being the opening lineup, what else do you guys see Fitzgerald doing? I don’t think see him adding any big free agents that are left or making a big trade. If anything I think it’ll be a couple PTO’s for training camp and maybe a minor trade. Let me know what you guys think.

I think Nosek plays, at least splits. Lazar has to get some reps too. I think we need to see what Graeme is or is not, fish or cut bait. Its tough too because we will need contracts like his soon. Foote and him will probably fight for a spot.

With bonuses, Devils are closer to the cap, maybe even over it. I would suggest do nothing now. Injuries might change things doing the season and the cap and roster.

Grow, develop, gain experience…I think all the pieces are here. If we make any move, maybe add some depth via PTO or at AHL level (only 39 contracts filled…so room there).

Fitz could still be cooking. I would be totally unsurprised if a goalie trade happens. Ullmark may be on the move depending on Swayman's salary. Tarasenko signing was also in the way of any big moves happening since he wanted to be in the metro.
