So... the issue with this is that Martinook is like Backlund lite

No need to do this for the Canes, especially for a rental. Martinook's line with Staal and Fast was one of the best in the NHL by possession metrics. Wouldn't mind adding Backlund, but no point moving Marty to do it

Matt Roy is better than Hanifin. Feel free to disagree but that's the honest truth. LA isn't going to make that deal, although I could see them wanting Hanifin for a different package
