    Yanno what's cheaper and better than paying Jarnkrok until he's a grandfather? A cheeseburg. Trotz is smart, and isn't dumb enough to help Toronto for free since that is the only way to view it from Nashville's perspective. I'm sure you'll find someone to take him, won't be Nashville without adequate compensation.

    Nothing against Järnkrok, who was a solid player in his time in NSH, but the Preds decline. NSH doesn't need a long term, over 30 year old addition to their bottom six.

    I think Jarnkrok is a part of the Preds past than future. I'd be surprised if they traded for him.

    “We don’t want a good player for free” may sound nice here but a GM that has to put a team on the ice is going to take a player they know can help. Nashville has the least amount of money in their forwards in the whole league.
