Jonathan Toews isn't playing this year, He's taking the year off.

Patrick Kane isn't signing with no Canadian team, Even his own agent said that he wants the Rangers only.

And sorry i don't see Edmonton being on Brett Pesces 15 team trade list. He's another American who reportedly doesn't want to play in Canada.

In all seriousness, I don't know if Kane and toews are going to be that interested in playing. In Edmonton seems like a stretch.

Doesn't make much sense for Carolina. Still leaves them with 9 defensemen on the roster, and neither player coming back would be a regular in the lineup. If Pesce was moved i'm sure it would be for a forward.
