That could work at the TDL, but the Jets aren't trading their goalie and going without a 1G for the full season for that.

Possibly, he's excelled ar every level. Part of the problem, as I see it, is that the Sabres centers aren't good defensively, and their defense, besides Samuelsson, isn't known for their defense. We are hoping granato is following the avalanches playbook- one year of pond hockey to build confidence for the offense, then start to really tighten things down in the d zone. The Sabres need to really play better in front of whoever is in net. I was all for getting a vet goalie to insulate Levi, but for whatever reason, probably cost, the Sabres chose to run with upl and comrie.
