Description
I have been saying this ever since the Sens got into cap issues. Trade Kubalik. I feel like PD isn't going to trade him only because he was the player returned for Cat and PD feels like he will lose his pride if he trades him, but he makes the most sense. Joseph plays key PK time for the team and is very responsible defensively. Kubalik does not play any PK time and is on PP2, but if Pinto is signed it makes the most sense to replace Kubalik with Pinto since Tarasenko, Sandy and Chych should stay on PP2 no matter what. The only other player that could be replaced on PP2 is Greig, but if Norris is back he may push Giroux back to PP2 which would then push Kubalik and Greig out of PP time. So, Kubalik makes the most sense to trade right now and is easier to replace rather than trying to replace Joseph.

Why don't Sens fans get the lesson that teams aren't paying to do Ottawa a favor.

No one is paying for any roster player on the Sens unless it's a drastic win in their teams favor. Kubalik, Joseph or another bottom line player will cost them to get rid of

Kubalik and Joseph are not bottom-line players...


You're literally watching the reality work, Pinto isn't signed because no team is willing to pay for Joseph, Kubalik or Brannstrom. Teams know the Sens are in trouble and are making them pay to rid of those guys. Dorion is being smart and waiting it out but eventually something will have to give.

It's either wait for a long term injury or pay a premium price to move one of those players, welcome to reality

I just realized that I didn't explain how life works... so I'll try

There's no collusion against one team, teams are motivated by their own benefit/needs. They will look to serve their interests regardless of if it helps the Senators or not.

Before responding, make sure you know what collusion is.

lol at "Dorion is being smart". He's as clueless as possible, he created this whole situation UNPROVOKED because he has absolutely no idea what "foresight" or "asset management" is.

So in real life teams do other teams favors for nothing? Because that's literally what you're asking a team to do by taking on a Sens player. Plus, it's already been reported teams are asking for a 1st to even take Joseph on so your reality clearly isn't happening right now.

Not even going to defend Dorion because his moves have been..well your a Sens fan you know.
