If the Avs didnt have too many lhd they need to figure out in the ahl, I would be ok with this. If the goal is to shed cap. How has Wallinder looked in the A?

I always liked Wallinder as a prospect but if the Avs are moving Girard (a LHD) they ideally need either a RHD or C coming back, not a LHD.

No thanks we'll keep the 6'4" Wallinder over the 5'10" Girard. Wallinder is looking like the real deal.

Girard-Gostisbehere pairing ain't happening. Both are smaller offensive minded d-men. Either we sign Gostisbehere and keep the assets or trade for Girard.
