He’s likely used in a bigger deal for an actual NHL defenceman, not an AHL scrub.

Rather keep Phillips. At least he's shown the ability to play a full professional season. If you aren't putting Robertson in the top 6 w/ other skilled players, what's the point of getting him anyway?

I could see them dealing him for a middle 6 guy too since apparently they are in the market for a cost-effective guy that could possibly play in the top 6.
