Keep Brodie with Rielly by the way. Use Tanev with McCabe. Brodie + McCabe struggled last year. Rielly + Brodie has always done so well.

Calgary could separate those two in a couple deals and get way better assets back without helping the Leafs just for the sake of it.

It's probably add a 3rd and maybe Timmins? Honestly I don't think it can be much more than that. I don't think you get a 1st for either Tanev or Zadorov in separate deals. Ekholm who's far better than both players and has term cost the Oilers a Bish prospect and a 1st/4th.

Ekholm also costs 6+ million a year, has hips like my grandmother and has similar metrics to Tanev when it comes to supressing chances. Only way they pull a 1st for Zadorov is if they're taking on money which they're in a position to do so.
