Description
Third line has been great at driving play, but no finish. Carcone could be a huge game changer in the bottom 6, with one more year at league min this year and next. Hopefully him and the return of Suter will help Garland out.

Demote Joshua to fourth line role and replace Miller’s role on PK, he has legitimately been good there.

I honestly don't see the Coyotes doing this. The value is more or less fair, to me - Carcone had a decent scoring touch in the AHL but I don't think he's magically transformed into a 40 goal scorer at 27 years old (and his 33.3 shooting percentage agrees with me.)

But Arizona has 10(!) 2nd round picks over the next three drafts - 3 this year, 4 next year, and 3 more in 2026. The fact that they've reached the quarter pole of the NHL season in playoff position and with a positive goal differential makes me feel like they're not going to be cashing in roster players at the deadline this year - they may even dip into that hoard of picks and upgrade the lineup this time around.

Feels like he is on a heater and would be worried about paying this price for a depth guy.

Zero chance Canucks want Carcone back. Definitely not for a second. There are a host of Canucks prospects I'd take first. Feels like we've got the Coyotes marketing team working these boards.

decent scoring touch in AHL - he led the AHL in scoring thats pretty decent. and you are right why does AZ need another 2nd, carcone wont keep up 41 G pace but even 25 for 3rd liner at league min, not worth AZ to trade him.

why would AZ marketing try to push a trade for current top scorer on 41G/82 pace (wont keep that up but maybe ends around 25G) for another 2nd when have so many.
