Habs would give you Allen 50% retained for only 1 1st if Campbell is retained that much

Not a chance that EDM is giving up two firsts AND retaining half the contract lol that is just nuts.
Since when does a 2.5 mil cap dump cost 2 first round picks?

The salary retention doesn’t make sense in any Campbell deal. It’s much cheaper to buy him out in the off-season rather than commit to salary retention. If the Oilers move their 1st round pick to relieve Campbell’s contract, they’re won’t be much of any at all retention

It is over 8 million since it is basically 2.5 million for 3.5 years.
Probably cheaper for the Oilers to just buy him out next year...
