Description

Bear signed now while there's a massive opportunity with so many injuries to play his way into the lineup but ultimately ends up 7th D.

Would only do the Flames deal if Hanifin would extend, not worth it otherwise. Went for Sundqvist to have another C around, still not 100% trusting of Domi's defensive work at C but he's been unreal offensively since being moved into the middle.

Leafs grab Reimer at TDL as insurance, at which point Gio agrees to be sent down to rest before playoffs for a month and pulls the Spezza "claim me and I'll retire" move

Leafs would decline the flames Minten is untouchable so long as they have 1st to spend and there is zero chance we spend more then 1 1st this year

Minten is a very good prospect to you. From the outside looking in he's a 2nd rounder who's played less than 10 nhl games and wasn't very productive.

That's barely enough for Hanifin. A package that makes our roster so significantly worse has to hurt you.

Start with Knies.

No thanks from Detroit. Petruzzeli chose to not sign in Detroit and signed in Toronto. We don't want him back and a 5th isn't enough to make us do this deal right now.
