Both Matthews and Rielly have zero penalty minutes. Which is a bit wild, considering how much they both play. Both should be considered for the Lady Bing also.

Demko should be first for Vezina. Leads the league in GSAx in all situations and at 5v5, and is second is SV% among goalies with 20+ games played. Also tied for first in shutouts

I also don’t think Staal or McLeod will be that high for the Selke, even if they’re deserving as they’re more likely to give it to a higher scoring player with average-above average defense than an elite defensive forward on a 25-35 point pace

Hart - I agree with the first 2, either could win it. Toss up between Q. Hughes and McDavid for #3 imo

Selke - Barkov has pretty much already won it. No one else will get even half as many votes. Couturier will probably get 2nd. 3rd would probably be Kopitar or Pettersson

Calder - like Barkov with the Selke, Bedard is a lock baring a long term injury. I would take Faber and Zary above Rossi and Hughes but that would be my top 5.

Norris - Hughes and Makar are #1 and 2 for sure but I would argue Faber or Dobson before Hedman, their ice time is pretty crazy.

Lady Byng - hardest to predict. Probably Matthews and Theodore though. Slavin's not a bad choice either.

Vezina - Demko should win it. Swayman doesn't get enough starts to win it. I would take Hellebuyck and Oettinger over him for sure. Hill has been solid behind a very strong defensive team. He will get votes but won't win it

I agree that Barkov will probably win the Selke but Staal is much more deserving of it. He has way better analytical numbers than Barkov and has shut down some high powered guys when matched up against them

"I also don’t think Staal or McLeod will be that high for the Selke, even if they’re deserving as they’re more likely to give it to a higher scoring player with average-above average defense than an elite defensive forward on a 25-35 point pace"- They probably won't win it but they do deserve it... Staal centers the best shutdown line in hockey and McLeod is very good in his own end
