Description
Taking a look at the lineup with Z at wing instead of rolling three lines with him in the middle. Still signing a star RW.

Before anyone freaks out about the Demelo contract, yes, I'm aware it's too much, but you have to pay a premium to 1: get players to CA and 2: get them to take a short term deal. Deal doesn't hurt the Ducks and he could be retained and used as a depth trade piece after a year if needed. Realistically just need to find a way to get Fowler off of the PK if possible. Would like to let the kids get reps there, especially if Mintyukov is going to be a true #1 guy.

I think we're going to look back on that Killorn contract and come to hate it, should have been three years tops.

I wonder how a Jones Zegras Leason line would look when Leo is back

I don't know, worth a shot I guess, Leason's been playing well as of late, seems to have gotten some of that scoring touch back. Jones is good at transitional play but I like the two of them as a grittier chaos line. I think Lundestrom would be a better pivot for them.

Given the teams looking for middle 6 C help, I think Henrique is going to be sold off well before the TDL.

I think he is dealt once Leo is ready to come back

Why not? What do you think? I don’t disagree with Lundy instead like @GiggywithGibby said but I just thought he could add some flash to that line

Zegras needs to play with top end talent. No need to have him centering bottom 6 guys. Let him play the wing where his future lies with the ducks and create chemistry with Leo or McT.

Also the ducks should only be re-signing one of Leason or Jones. Preferably Leason. Still have McGinn, Johnston and some of the SD guys that can play the bottom 6 role left by whoever isn’t kept.
