1st+3rd+Vanacek+Clarke for Gibson at 4 mill or even 4.5 mill

Why does Anaheim give you retention? They are already giving you 2 to 2.4 million of retention by taking Vanacek.

I’d keep Vanacek this year and dump him next to take out a 3rd.

My valuation is Gibson at 5-5.5 mill

Vanacek at 1.5-2 mill

The retention on Gibson is what gives him value. At 4 mill he has about 4-6 mill in surplus value (or a little more than a 1st)

Vanacek has about -3/4 mill

Overall paying for about 10 mill in surplus value. So a 1st 3rd prospecy

I would insist on switching the years of the picks -- we already have 3 2024 thirds. But I think that this offer is in the ballpark.

That's assuming that we're going to trade Gibby at all.
