Description
About Panthers:
1) Florida get rid of 10m goalie, which let more cap flexibility. For example - for re-sign Reinhart.
2) In my opinion Saros will be better next season than Bob anyway. So it is goalie upgrade.
3) FLA get decent LD prospect.
4) FLA get solid RW. I think Tomasino is a good player, and he need a change of scenario asap.

About Preds:
1) Nashville finally received their top line center of the future.
Lundell best season was under Brunette. Also Preds have Kemell and Pärssinen as perfect wingers and countryman's for Lundell. I think it is 100% fit.
2) Nashville received a mentor for Askarov and probably his future backup.

P.S. Saros can sign an extension immediately. However I think it will be better to see if he or Knight is the future goalie of Panthers. After this "duel" one of them can be traded for the nice assets.
P.S. P.S I even think that Preds can add something else. Like mid lvl prospect or 2nd/3rd round pick(s).

No shot, Bob has been much better than Saros this season and saros is going to get a contract in the 8.5-9 mill based on reputation alone.

So Florida is trading a young top 6 center with 1C potential for 1 1/2 year of saros at 5 mill before they have to overpay him for 8 years

Saros is a perennial top 5 goalie in the league carrying a barely good wildcard team this year, making only 5m.

Bob is a washed goalie at the ripe old age of 35 on what is one of the worst contracts in the league. People think he’s resurged into prime Price after one good playoff run, forgetting he’s been mediocre the past 4 seasons.

In what world is Lundell a future 1C? He’s pacing 30pts a season in what will eventually turn into a decent middle 6 forward, nothing spectacular. Tomasino is has been scoring at similar paces.

Nashville is getting shafted here. And even then, I’d rather give Saros around 8 per than to have a geriatric Bob on my team at 10m for 3 more seasons.
