Zero chance of Jacob Markstrom waiving for a rebuilding Hawks team.

We just don't need to be signing any huge deals right now. Otherwise, I would be all on the Guntzel and Reinhart train. Those UFA signings are reasonable and realistic. I, for one, would not be opposed. Though, I doubt CGY trades Markstrom for that package.

Why pay so much for Mrazek? I seriously doubt he deserves a raise from his current $3.8M given his recent performance. And leave Lafferty alone!!

We had him first. In fact, CHI resurrected his career. He probably would have wasted away in the AHL with PIT if KD hadn't traded for him and revealed his potential.

I'm on board with all of those UFA targets except Labanc. He stinks. And no one for more than two seasons max. If the AAV goes up on any of them, that's ok. If the Hawks re-sign Mrazak, can't see them targeting Markstrom in a trade. And as said previously, that package doesn't get Markstrom anyway and he likely isn't waiving for Chicago.
