With what cap space? Minnesota only has $9,100,000 to sign 10 players, And Zegras alone eats about 75% of that.

@CaseyFlyman is spot on. If that's all it takes to get Zegras, every team in the league is in on this deal, which drives the cost WAY UP. But there is no chance the Ducks even consider this. Verbeek would get run out of town.

I mean, the pick is 7th OA right now, in a very solid draft. They can rise, but they might not rise much more than 10. Maybe drop the 2nd?
