VGK counters Lehner and a 4 so Vancouver can just go deeper in LTIR. Why the F*** would they help Vancouver someone they clearly could meet in the playoffs for basically nothing a lottery ticket in a 4th round pick?

Fair point, the Vegas component clearly wasn't the important part of the trade.

I would definitely take that, and they are currently in a re-tool.

Course they’d take that, Lekkerimaki will probably be better than Kyrou in a year. Maybe do this for Thomas but no way he’s on the block and his comp is probably Petey.

That’s a stretch he’s better than kyrou next year. There is a massive difference between SHL/WJ vs NHL. Lekkerimaki hasn’t even played on smaller NA ice yet.

Kyrou is a pretty electric player and has been over PPG in the last 2 season’s combined before this one. Kyrou and Thomas have been great together, so imagine what kyrou and Petey could do.
