Description
Draft Day 5 names are off the board MTL is set to Pick
Eiserman is still on the Board and ANA picks up the phone, its MTL calling.

ANA Accepts Zegras for Eiserman pick , 39th OA pick in 2024 , and Jordan Harris
ANA recoops a High End Talent from the top 10 of a good draft who also has high end skills
They also get a pick in the top 10 picks of the 2nd round and Harris who they can Play or Flip or Both
Most value Guaranteed they'll get from any team currently offering up a package.
Less uncertainty here more of a "we already won" vibe people got off the Suzuki deal soon as they saw his name(not to say a lot of us didnt Love Patches and were mad about a LAK trade for Vlardi but Suzuki deal there was little division on)

Size and Skill in Every line without losing Speed or being afraid of using smaller players.
Defense is young but the same ideal's apply there with Savard and Kovy to guide them as Veterans.
Xhekaj-Mailloux are so dynamic in Laval i dont expect it to take long for this team to thrive.

Hutson's not a Lock to join after this year he was expressing desire to stay with this group and build on it.
But then he said right after that individually there's not much left for him to accomplish outside the NCAA title.
But he does seem to love that group which is a good call as its stacked with quality top to bottom.
Even their healthy scratches are successful ,and why their teams #2 in the whole NCAA but i digress.
IF Hutsons ready this year we move out savard or kovacevic in the summer
Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Campbell, Jack
  2. Holloway, Dylan
  3. 2024 1st round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Cap works out to about the same
1m difference but Janmark,Foegele, ext are off the books and Ylonen is there with a league minimum deal adding a decent piece
EDM
  1. Matheson, Michael
  2. Ylönen, Jesse
Additional Details:
MTL gets Holloway who Caufield had his single best season ever playing beside in his 2 years in NCAA

MTL uses Campbell to back up Dobes who has a mid level ECHL Goalie and a Euro League reject on a PTO after he got suspended for throwing a water bottle at the Ref and trying to have a go at him. For this and next Season Campbell isnt a bad fit , then we can buy him out

MTL gets a 1st this year likely a later pick but it helps prepare them for moving their top 10 pick in this years draft for Zegras.
2.
MTL
  1. Bäck, Oskar
  2. Faksa, Radek
  3. 2024 1st round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Pezz replaces Faksa's role on 4th in terms of Production and Physicality, Same offense with way less minutes and games the 6'1 215lbs Sparkplug does it at almost 1/4th Faksa cost and he's younger with DAL have more leverage in contract talks.

Monahan short term fills the Center workload of Faksa and then some while contributing over double the offense while playing more mintues. If memory Serves Monahan has like 10 goals 21 playoff points in 30 games so there's no question he's an upgrade for a playoff run.
DAL
  1. Monahan, Sean
  2. Pezzetta, Michael
  3. 2024 4th round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
Why ?
The 1st has Value but we can also flip Faksa next year or keep him worst case scenario to replace Dvorak who's likely to finish out next year on and off the IR list anyways

Back is a Good AHL fit for Laval and while i doubt he'll play in MTL , if he does it will be in 2-3 years time. He's not bad there's just so many better then him like Lias Andersson former top 10 pick who's constantly passed over despite being much more effective at the AHL level. Some players are just unlikely to make the jump due to the Physicality of the game making them ghosts. Doesnt mean he wont help Laval with its Depth issues as currently 2/3rds of our 4th line last year are our two top 6 Centers this year. Since Stephens got called up we lack a true Center who can handle bulk Faceoffs.
3.
MTL
  1. 2024 4th round pick (SJS)
Additional Details:
To any team for the cost of RS 50% in a 4th round pick

Another team can flip him at 50% off for more then they gave up and its off the table and out of the way for MTL so Monty can get more starts before the TDL
ARI
  1. Allen, Jake ($1,925,000 retained)
Additional Details:
This one isnt done at the TDL but today instead.
Again this is to any team so the can do what MTL did with Scandella and get a return on their cost in 4-6 weeks time
4.
MTL
ARI
  1. Pearson, Tanner
Additional Details:
Pearson waived before the TDL
If not Claimed brought back up to assume Pezz role
5.
MTL
  1. Krebs, Peyton
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
BUF gets the better of the DAL/EDM picks in 2024 draft as well as Owen Beck(or Kidney) in exchange for Krebs
BUF
  1. Beck, Owen
  2. 2024 1st round pick (DAL)
6.
ANA
  1. Harris, Jordan
  2. 2024 1st round pick (MTL)
  3. 2024 2nd round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
MTL's 6th OA pick
MTL's 39th OA pick (VIA BUF)
Jordan Harris

Straight out the Gate i know @littlejerryseinfeld will be coming after me for the Krebs Trade.
Krebs isnt increasing his ice time in any system including MTL's
We are offering up another 1st in a position similar to his draft spot if not as good if both EDM and DAL get pushed out in the 1st in unforseen situations (but unlikely)
You also get Owen Beck who's Bottom end is what Krebs seems to be at now with the added bonus he's a younger Pest who an Ambidextrous Faceoff Center with high praise for his Prowess there.

Because he's a Pest and a Team guy i could see him playing about his 3rd line projections as he has it in him to score a hat trick on any given night like Eller
But also like Eller he's inconsistent in terms of his high end skill set and is more a middle 6 option you can build on

I feel this balances out Decently for BUF who in a year from now when the Small Forward options diminish more then his icetime
I can be Convinced to add another middling piece but TBH i feel like this is better then COL or MIN got for Jost from you guys or MIN

I'll walk it back and find the balance but until then we gotta find what makes ANA fans bite.
Otherwise its just a back and forth insult fest on this site lol

If Beck is so good idk why MTL does that deal. Sabres don't need more centers though so that trade makes no sense. Idk how anyone looks at Buffalo's system and thinks they need to add center prospects

Zegras is already is approaching bust territory. You dont give them a retry on a top 5-8 pick with bonuses for the pleasure. 2024 1st is off the table, period!

Its always the same insult fest no matter the deal. Nobody listens but puts forth meaningless platitudes and laughing remarks despite nobody laughing at anything but their own remarks.

The most engagement you get is when you post a troll ACGM that lets the regulars go mask off on obvious bait.
There's maybe 5-6 ppl I can actually hold a conversation here that doesnt delve into lunacy and tribalism
